For Writers

Writers' Club of Whittier
Founded in 1953 by Susan Dibelka, the Writers' Club of Whittier is a critique group that helps serious writers unlock the doors to publication through active participation in workshops using the club's proven workshop methods.

Are you a published writer or is your writing of publishable quality? If so, the WCW invites you to attend any of its workshops (see below) twice as a guest. Following the second visit, you may request an application for membership, fill it out, and return it to the Membership Committee along with samples of your published or unpublished work.

The WCW's workshops provide a supportive, synergistic environment for members to read and critique original manuscripts intended for publication.

Daytime                         1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays, 10 AM

Poetry                            3rd Sunday, 1:00 PM

Meetings are currently on Zoom. For more details about attending the workshop or applying for membership to the club, go to www.writersclubofwhittier.com or email [email protected].
